Loving Legacy Photography – the Stats!

I’ve loved anything “artsy” as long as I can remember… as a child I was quite the performer, both in ballet and public speaking, appearing in commercials and print ads.  As I grew older, writing and drama became passionate pursuits – only then I didn’t realize it was because of my God-given love for expressing the human heart.

Over the years, I’ve become a momma (five times over!) and my interests turned more from performing, to capturing the moments LIFE performs on a daily basis!  It’s my desire to take those sensibilities of mom, artist, and observer of life, and translate them into helping you create your family’s legacy.  The book of Deuteronomy tells God’s people to carefully learn what He wants to tell them, and to pass it on, at all costs, to those who will come in future generations.  In photography, we have the opportunity to do just that!  Each moment you share with your family becomes part of your family’s LEGACY – capture those moments to share with those who will follow!

As a photographer, I bring a lighthearted sensibility to your session.  Your precious memories don’t happen in a rush in a mall studio, and that’s not how we’re going to capture them!  Together, we’ll have fun – using a few poses, but mostly just capturing the “real-life” that happens during our time together.  Wear what’s comfortable (no logos, characters, or large prints recommended) and bring a couple objects that are meaningful to you or your kids.  (I usually have a couple fun things in my “goodie bag” as well!)

After your session, usually within 1-2 weeks, we will preview your proofs.  You can decide how you want to preserve them – we can provide prints, canvas, memory books, and more!  If you choose the “year of memories” option and complete three sittings in one year, I will produce a memory book or Slide Show for you at year’s end at NO CHARGE!  The bottom line is that I want to help you preserve your family’s memories, one photo at a time.
